Zedd - Clarity (Official Video) ft. Foxes

'Cos you are the piece of me I wish I didn't need ...
Chasing relentlessly..
Still fight and I don't know why...

If our love is tragedy why are you my remedy
If our love is insanity why are you my clarity

I'm scarred beyond words. Because now, whatever that I do, whatever efforts I had ever put on, it's just a mean fact that things will never ever be the same again.

I want to be a lady....
I mean... treated like one.

Clarity on repeat. Overtime later. Ouh God please give me the strength to get through each day, because right now, I'm in a total mess.

SHELL JURONG ISLAND Family Day 2013 @ Marina Bay Sands Hotel

Well 11th September was the date I have been looking forward to! Yeap, it's the sponsored hotel stay in recognition to this year's family day event. Well for this year, they split up everyone into several groups as they cannot accommodate the large number of staffs that Shell has, and i'm glad it's being done that way because I don't really have to see people I don't like.

This year (well I think it happens once every two years, my first hotel stay was at Resort World Sentosa's Hard Rock Hotel in October 2011, two days before my official integration into Team C), the hotel stay is held at Marina Bay Sands. We were all very excited I tell you! Mainly because we could go skypark for free and also get to experience what's swimming is like at MBS' infinity pool that is only open for hotel guests.

MBS' check-in time was supposedly 3pm but Shell requested for a 2pm check-in. I checked-in about 2ish pm just in time to meet the boys and their family go have our lunch. Yup, I decided to roll with them as it will be much fun as a group even though they're with their families.

I got a room on the 45th floor, my room was facing the city. The toilet is not so impressive though. could have been better.

THE ROOM IS HUUUUGE I TELL YOU!!! it's perfect for family orgy hahaha if I had kids i'm sure they'll be running around in the room. And we got a king sized bed. THE COMFORTER IS SOOO SOOO NICE. The pillow isn't so nice though, it's too soft.

Yours truly on her much awaited and deserved weekday getaway.

The view from 45th floor of Marina Bay Sands Hotel.

Rested for awhile, then met the guys at Singapore Flyer's Popeyes outlet. it was a damn loooooong walk there! under the hot sun summore!  should have brought along an umbrella. but i'm thankful mister sun is out to play because it'll be very boring if it rains especially in this unexpected weather.

No pictures at Popeyes though. Total of 4 families ate there. Went back, chillax, waited for about 5.30-ish to go out and swim!

Jaliboy's son. SO NAKAL!!! hhahaha

The boys (guys in actual fact) with their family

Managed to get a glimpse of the sunset whilst atop the swimming pool

The boy

Me with Azhar's wife

Jaliboy! Wak's family in the background

The boy & ahboy (Jonathan)

Jaliboy and sons.
Jonathan, Nurdin & MC behind.

Ya allah susah nak amik gambar dengan ni dua budak kecik.

The boys have left, only me and fiancé still chillaxing in the pool. the view was awesome!

Time for Panorama!

There is also a Jacuzzi at the back and it's facing gardens by the bay. nothing much though. I rather face the city view!

I have no boobies.

57th floor lift lobby. Lotsa people in dressed up nicely going to the club at MBS.

Went back, get showered and dressed up to have dinner. As botak wasn't driving, we cabbed to Esplanade's Makansutra. alamak the food choices there disappointing or what! It's really not a place for Muslims to dine lor. End up only have to settle the typical mee goreng, murtabak variety. Should have seen how Azhar's son eat! such a big appetite for a 9/10 years old boy.

Well later on after dinner, planned to break my club/pub virginity with my colleagues. And since fiancé's not a drinker, I went without him. skipped Avalon but instead my colleagues brought me to Clarke Quay to experience the night club there. A total culture shock! Well, went to The Pump Room as they're comfortable there. had a tower of idkwhat beer because I forgot. didn't now drinks cost sooo much! after the ladies night discount it was about $105-ish? It has been 6 years since I last got high and the feeling was awesome! I just had trouble walking that's all. Drank, talk, smoke, danced for abit (I still haven't got out of the comfort zone to dance like a crazy bitch like how I danced/moshed back in gigs) so I was pretty much like a kental girl on the dancefloor. I liked the singer! the voice is naaaaaaiiisee~

Well it was truly a night that I won't forget. Thanks so much for the company. Had supper at Spize river valley before heading back to our hotel. Knocked out after which till I overslept. Was supposed t check out at 11am and I planned to go for a swim in the morning since the swimming pool opened about 6-ish am. But daaamn boy was I disappointed because I overslept.

Well that's my short weekday vacation at Marina Bay Sands hotel. the infinity pool wasn't something to hype or rave about, perhaps just the stunning views from the pool that is making the reviews go a few notches higher.

But overall, if you got the bucks to spend, this is definitely the place to stay if you're looking at a luxury hotel. only drawback if you're a muslim is that it's quite hard to find a halal certified eatery, especially if you're very cautious about what you're eating.

Do also note that the fridge works on a weight sensor thingy, charges WILL BE INCURED if you move something out of the fridge/bar even though you didn't consume anything. The bar is packed till the brim so there isn't any free space for you to store your bottled drinks that you might have purchased from 7-11.

Overall it was quite a short stay as we couldn't really get to enjoy the full benefits that the hotel have to offer. I was only told that hotel guests get discounts if you're going to visit the Mummy exhibition at Arts Science Museum. GODAMMIT! I really wanted to goooo~!!!

please take note of the following mentioned issues and hopefully there will be improvement in any future  handovers .
These are noticed on 07/09/13 handover from your morning shift
 - Retention SM loading sample still on the trolley
- Acidity Waste Container not cleared ( few times )
- Mobile Phase for LC 4 not top up, one of it only left 200ml
Base on my Past experience is sat SMPO morning not a heavy load day so should have ample time to do all the necessary housekeeping jobs.
Unless you have lots of COQs and loading samples , then team leader please assign someone to help her out on this.
  Regards ,
Lifen

My ears bleed each time someone else have to personally tell me how other people whom i call COLLEAGUES are bitching and nagging about me, behind my back. Besides this isn't the first time that this happened, and one have no friggin idea how much this is affecting me. Yes, the issues that were being talked about are just too petty, but when it becomes too much, tell me, just tell me how do i ignore these people?

Oh yes, it's easy to say that to keep their mouths shut, i'll just have to execute ALL my tasks, housekeeping and all. Oh, and when they have nothing to find fault with, they'll have their own means to find fault with me. I have reached this point where my morale will be at an all time low every single cycle. It's about time i edit my resume and get the fuck out of Shell Chemicals.

These bitches have all the things to say about housekeeping because they're too used to having a coolie working for them. that's why they're against the idea of helping others who are not doing their own job. FUCK YOU LA. The things, the bullshits i encounter are NOTHING compared to not clearing wastes and not topping up mobile phase. There was even one bloody point of time where some fucker just keep on sabotaging the instruments, writing the word CB next to MY NAME on my custodian instrument. Seriously la, grow the fuck up!

All these menial things that can be done easily, just help la, cannot? must grumble, must complain TO BOSS, cannot talk to the person at fault directly? No guts? DIE DIE MUST COMPLAIN TO BOSS? EVERYTHING ALSO MUST COMPLAIN TO BOSS? And it's just wooooonderful to know that you have a boss/bosses that are not biased against anyone. NOT!

The fuck thing that i can't accept is, THE WORD (FEW TIMES), okay bitch, how many times have I done SMPO? i think only 3 cycles so far. How many times have you taken over me from SMPO? I can't recall but i doubt thats alot. Not happy with my handover, SAY la. Fucker still need to nag and complain to other people. Not the first time eh. Just what the fuck is the problem with all you scumbags? Trying to prove a point that you can run your own bloody team BETTER as a team fucking leader? Just wait till the juniors after me learn SMPO la, let's see who's better.

Heh.

Pepatah melayu cakap ape tau, semut seberang tambak kau nampak, gajah depan mata kau tak nampak. Go fix your ownselves before finding others fault la please. There's a fucking reason why my mentor keeps on talking about how "even the junior (which is ME) know how to calculate" this and that.

Have you bitches have got no brain to think? What runs the lab? The execution of testing of the samples, proper reporting of results, proper maintenance of equipments, proper CARE of the bloody equipments. Do housekeeping play a major role to keep the lab and the bloody plant running? I DOUBT SO. Yes, a clean lab is crucial for our own "safety", but to the extent of never clear waste also want to make noise, eh kau bodoh kape? TAK CLEAR JE PE bukan nye sample berteraboh satu lab macam SESETENGAH orang dalam lab ni buat.

URGH.

Oh, and to counter the bitch's email, i sent her this:

Lifen, Yep. Noted for the 2nd and 3rd point. As for SM retention I might have missed out most probably it came late and I wasn’t in the lab at that point of time and happens so I didn’t check the incoming sample trolley before handing over to you. Would appreciate if you’re unhappy with handing over matters to talk to me personally rather than keeping it inside then after which you spill out everything that you’re not happy then I hear things from other people and not from you itself. You can drop me an email its okay. By the way, I know that Saturday morning SMPO station not so heavy load but I’m still new so may take awhile to get used to and probably missed out the tiny little things like housekeeping which can make you unhappy. Regards,Zul
I hope my last two sentences struck a bell in her tiny little brain and stop bothering me.

Fuck you and fuck the lab management.

What you need to keep your skin youthful and healthy

I was talking to the company's occupational nurse just now after the briefing about first aid awareness on Phenol & Hydrofluoric acid. He's 2 years shy of retirement and we had a short conversation about my father. His advice for my father was that my father should keep himself active and not stay home and watch TV all daaaaay looonggg. Engage in sports, go out, take walks, join tai chi classes in the morning, anything, as long as it keeps his body heated up.

Then he mentioned something:
"that's the main problem. orang melayu kita ni tak suka sangat rajinkan diri bersenam semua. nanti macam2 sakit dating".

which reminded me of what my friend told me, about keeping fit and eating healthy in order to look youthful even when you're old. yeap, you don't really need all those health/beauty supplements in order to supress aging.

I don't have a picture of my father and fiancé's father, but if I were to post them on my blog, I can bet that 99% of you readers may think that my fiancé's father is much older than my father.

for once, my father still has dominantly black hair, and his front teeth is still mostly intact. fiancé's father's hair is mostly grey/white. and his teeth, hehehehehe bogeh lah senang cakap lah kan.

what I can probably conclude is that due to my father's work nature, he's much active than fiancé's father. which is why my father doesn't really look much older as compared to fiancés father. my father works shifts, gets out in the field, climbs up columns, open and close valves, train new technicians who just joined the coy, I can say that he's pretty much an active person at work, but not so at home. at home, all he does is eat sleep watch tv, and also the daily 10mins jog INSIDE the house which really irritates me to the max!

a healthy and balanced diet is also crucial to your bodily immune system. it's useless to be consuming supplements that burns a hole in the pocket yet you're doing nothing to help your body detoxify all that junk and harm that you've caused to your body. it's akin to seeing the doctor for your cough but then you're still consuming fried foods and carbonated drinks. MAJOR FAIL!

someone I knew (lets call her Ilya) who took El Marino Blanc, told me that EMB doesn't help her lose weight. As per instruction, EMB has to be taken before meals so that it suppresses your appetite and thus, you don't gain weight, in fact, you'll lose weight! I didn't personally experience it myself because my weight is always fluctuating depending on my mood to eat and how hectic the sample workload is, my weight usually drifts about 50 - 55kg. So after 2 months of consumption, her efforts in trying to lose weight through consuming EMB is pretty much a wasted effort. The only plus point is that her eczema has lessen. I personally think that eczema can be treated in other alternative and much economical way!

I don't believe in 1 product that can offer you a miracle in healing this and that, even if it claims to work from the inside out. it is sooo against my principle to offer people something that is too good to be true. some people may say that "good things don't come cheap", but I beg to differ. there are other good products that are inexpensive and works just as fine!

don't fall in their trap. half of the time they won't understand the science behind how things work in the cells of your body. even if they have "doctors" who endorse the product, how sure can you be that their opinions aren't biased and that they're only in it for the money?

moral of the story:
Don't get yourself burnt.
